The Windsor branch of the Blackwater Regional Library will hold a variety of upcoming events.

Its “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading Program runs June 28 through Aug. 7. Every week, there will be a themed “Take and Make” kit for children and teens to pick up and enjoy at home.

The programs will also include a live program, “Harold Wood and the Magic Library,” at 11 a.m. July 12 at the Windsor Town Center, 23361 Courthouse Highway, Windsor. This program is made possible through grant funding provided by Arts4Learning.

There will be weekly drawings for book/plushie sets, Bluebird Gap FarmDoptions, endangered animal wristlets with an info card linked to real-time animal tracking, and more. The grand prize will be a one-year family membership to the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk.
