Windsor High School’s varsity softball and baseball teams had made their presence known at the district level and opened their respective regional runs with first-round victories, but both saw their seasons come to an end in the Region 2A quarterfinals.

The No. 5 Lady Dukes traveled to play No. 4 Arcadia High School in the quarterfinals on May 25 and ultimately fell 4-0.

Despite the loss, Windsor finished the season with an outstanding overall record of 18-5, winning the Tri-Rivers District regular season and tournament championships.

Also on May 25, the No. 7 Dukes hit the road to play No. 2 King William High School and sustained a 4-0 defeat.

Despite a season with notable ups and downs, Windsor finished the year with a winning record of 12-11-1.
