To the Editor:

The national news media, I heard it on Fox News, let it be known this morning that the U.S. government officials are considering making all military vehicles electric powered. I am just a country boy (old man really,) and I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but when I heard that I blurted out an expletive. Who, in their right mind would suggest such a thing? They have to be total idiots! If they proceed to go forward with this plan, who will know when and where our next foreign war will be? Who will be responsible for asking that enemy country to please quickly build charging stations so we can recharge the batteries in our tanks and armored vehicles and other trucks etc.? They cannot even convince our citizens to buy electric cars because they are too expensive and we do not want to drive a vehicle on a trip and have to stay an extra night or two just to charge the car’s battery. It is a plan conceived by climate change ideologues and has no merit whatsoever. Someone alert the mental institutions, they have an immediate job to take care of.
