Isle of Wight Academy celebrated Homecoming 2022 on Friday, Oct. 7, with a 28-14 win over Portsmouth Christian School and an after party featuring the Heather Edwards Band and the 1997 IWA state champion football team. Macy Hooper, daughter of Chris and Julia Hooper of Smithfield, was crowned Homecoming Queen. Thomas and Beth Darden, of Smithfield, were honored as Alumnus of the Year.
