The Windsor-based Community Harvest Outreach held its annual Community Day on Sunday, Aug. 21, giving the organization the opportunity to serve more than 100 families in the community.
A CHO news release noted that offerings at the event included a magic show, bubble machine for the kids, food truck, ice cream truck, free school supplies, personal protective equipment sanitation kits, food boxes, household goods and a job fair.
“Thank you to the Windsor Police Department as well as the Windsor Fire Department for coming out and being a part of our event,” CHO Chairperson Laequinla Hunter said.
