Ruby Joyce Ridgill Simon, 75, passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021. Born March 26, 1946, in Manning, South Carolina, she was the only daughter of the late James Willard and Iva Lawrimore Ridgill. Mrs. Simon was preceded in death by husband, Chester Allen Simon, in 2003, having celebrated 34 years together as soulmates, and her brother, Thomas Willard Ridgill.

She served in the healthcare field as a registered nurse for many years and was a graduate of the University of South Carolina Medical School. She worked in local hospitals, nursing homes and as a school nurse. Most of all, she had a strong faith and love for the Lord.
