The Isle of Wight County Museum’s annual photo contest is underway during which participants are encouraged to take the image of P.D. Gwaltney Jr. and his ham with them and document a great vacation moment with a photo of the image.

The image can be downloaded on the museum’s website — at www.historicisleofwight.com/pan-ham-photo-contest-2021.html. Submissions can be posted on the museum’s Facebook page, tweeted to @WorldsOldestHam or emailed to the museum at jengland@smithfieldva.gov.

All entrants will be entered into a random drawing for a prize. Entries are due by 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15.
