The Woman’s Club of Windsor awarded two Dorothy G. Gwaltney Scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000, to Windsor High School seniors Allysa Megginson and Shivam Patel.

The scholarship is named in honor of a 50-plus year member of the Woman’s Club who died in January 2020.

Megginson will attend Radford University, where she plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing and later a masters of science in nursing degree.

Patel will attend the University of Virginia, where he plans to double major in biology/chemistry and pre-med.
