Graduates of Isle of Wight County’s public high schools will make their appearance on social media starting this weekend.

Lynn Briggs, spokeswoman said, “Tune in to Facebook and YouTube to see videos of each school’s graduating class as we honor them with a special video. Each graduate will be featured receiving their diploma, along with remarks from special guests. The Windsor High video will post online at 7 p.m. Friday, June 12. Smithfield High’s video will go online Saturday, June 13, at 9 a.m. The videos will be available to watch anytime once they are posted.”

She added that the ceremonies will run on the County’s public access television station (Charter Cable channel 190). Dates and times for the rebroadcast will be shared once they are finalized.

“The school division is still hoping for an in-person event during the summer based on guidelines from the Governor regarding large gatherings,” said Briggs. “Congratulations to the Class of 2020!”
