ISLE OF WIGHT

Windsor District Supervisor Joel Acree was unanimously approved on Jan. 2 as chairman of the Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors. Smithfield District Supervisor Dick Grice was unanimously approved as vice chairman.

Grice and Acree were both elected to a second term in November. The Board of Supervisors has traditionally rotated the position of chair and vice chair. Acree was vice chairman last year and replaced Newport District Supervisor William McCarty.
