The Isle of Wight County Museum is hosting this free program on Sunday, Nov. 4, starting at 2 p.m. As the nation commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, the museum will host speaker Roger Healy of Smithfield who will give a brief synopsis of the war and its origins, detail its legacy and discuss some of the misconceptions concerning service in Vietnam. He will share some of his experiences from his 1963-1964 and 1968 tours. Veterans are encouraged to join us and share some of their Vietnam memories. The program is free.
