The senior of the month for March at Windsor High School is Reann Nicole Nichols.

Nichols attends the Governor’s School for the Arts and performed this month with the Virginia Symphony as a singer in the opera “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” She has previously performed in Norfolk, Richmond and Northern Virginia, representing both Windsor High School and Isle of Wight County Schools throughout the state.

In addition to her commitment to her training at the Governor’s School, Nichols is an active member of Windsor High School’s Social Justice Club and a tireless advocate for animal rights.

“Passionate and involved, Reann approaches every task with 100 percent commitment and with pure resolve to give it her best,” said her English teacher, Luann Scott. “She is a gifted artist and a young woman of exceptional focus and drive.”

After graduation, Nichols plans to attend Virginia Commonwealth University.
