Chamber to host business showcase

The Isle of Wight-Smithfield-Windsor Chamber of Commerce will present a Regional Business-To-Business Showcase on Wednesday, March 14, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Smithfield Center, 220 N. Church St., Smithfield. Admission to the event is open exclusively to owners, managers and employees of businesses in the Hampton Roads region. Hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks, entertainment and door prizes are included with admission, and a cash bar will be available.

Exhibit space and sponsorship packages are limited to businesses that are members of a chamber of commerce in the Hampton Roads region (Isle of Wight, Hampton Roads, Virginia Peninsula, Franklin-Southampton, Williamsburg, Surry County and Eastern Shore chambers of commerce.)

Exhibitors, sponsors and invited guests are welcome to enter the exhibit hall at 3 p.m. for an engaging business presentation by Zack Miller, founder of Hatch.

For more information about exhibiting, sponsoring or attending the Regional Business-To-Business Showcase, contact the chamber office at 357-3502, or via email at chamber@theisle.org. Information and online registration is available at www.theisle.org.

Mark your calendar for Post-Legislative Session Breakfast

Paid registrations and student sponsorships from the cancelled Pre-Legislative Breakfast on Jan. 4 will be honored at this event.

The chamber’s Richard J. Holland Post-Legislative Session Breakfast Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, at 8 a.m., in the Smithfield Center. It is sponsored by Farmers Bank, Smithfield Foods and the Town of Smithfield.

The Post-Session Legislative Breakfast Forum is a valuable opportunity to engage with the county’s legislative delegation on issues facing the Commonwealth and Isle of Wight County. Bring your concerns and priorities to a lively question and answer session.

The Post-Legislative Breakfast is also a great opportunity for our local high school students to engage with elected leaders; please consider sponsoring a student today. Contact the chamber at 357-3502 or chamber@theisle.org for more information.
