Vodka sales benefit animal shelter
Mark and Kim Rangos, owners of Blue Sky Distillery, the makers of DOG STAR Vodka located in Smithfield, have always had a love for dogs.
To pay tribute to their four-legged friends, a portion of the net proceeds of the sale of each bottle will benefit the welfare of dogs.
On Friday, the Rangos presented a carload of supplies including food, treats and necessities to the Isle of Wight County Animal Shelter.
Their plan is to make a donation to the animal shelter once a quarter from the proceeds from the DOG STAR VODKA. Receiving the donation on behalf of the shelter were kennel assistants Christina Kearney and Emily Glickman.
